BIO
Erna Krošelj, visual artist
Since 2013, she has dedicated herself to painting, creating works on a variety of surfaces using acrylic techniques. Her practice evolved from traditional canvases to wooden panels and later to installations and composite pieces on reclaimed furniture, doors, shelves, and tabletops.
Her work reflects a commitment to sustainability, practical use, modularity, and eco-conscious projects.
In addition to painting, Erna incorporates natural sands into her works, collected from various locations. She uses sand to create relief, texture, and intricate details, giving each piece a unique tactile quality.
She explores the natural processes that shape these materials and transforms them into distinctive visual elements in her art.
